District 6 along with the help of friends from League City Volunteer Fire Dept. and Members of the Texas Air National Guard based out of Ellington Field help build a house for Habitat for Humanity for Hurricane Katrina victims over a the weekend of February 23rd-25th and March 3rd. 

When we arrived the foundation was ready and we started erecting the walls.

Day 2 consisted of installing the trusses, decking the roof, paneling the walls, applying blue board insulation and putting in the windows. Oh and hanging the hurricane hangers!!!

Day 3 we needed to finish decking out the roof, cover it in tar paper and shingles, install the doors and redo the  hurricane hangers all before the rain moved in at 11:00.We didn't get it finished.....
